FunSpots for CW-Fun Events

This interactive web page is for reporting radio activity relating to the CW Fun events.
For information about the current event click here.

The CW Fun Events are 48 hour events designed to measure your ability to accurately send and receive Morse code on amateur radio frequencies using traditional sending/receiving methods. Traditional methods allows for sending with straight keys, bugs and sideswipers. The use of electronic keyers and keyboards is not permitted. CW skimmers and decoders for copying are not permitted. Use the decoder between your ears for copying. You can use computer logging to keep track of things.

As an active ham operator you can get a measure of both your copying and sending proficiency, however, you do not have to be a licensed ham radio operator to participate. You can participate as an SWL to measure your copying ability and earn points for that.
